Cashmere is a fragile material and therefore we recommend washing your cashmere garments after approximately every fourth use. In between, it is enough to just air the garment. It is ok to wash cashmere in a washing machine, use the wool programme with short wash, never more than 30 degrees. Do not spin dry the garment however. In order to protect the garment as much as possible it is best to use a special wool detergent without alkali and a laundry bag. Never use fabric softener when washing cashmere.
It is also perfectly possible to hand wash your clothes in warm water with the same type of wool detergent. When you dry your clothes, we recommend not to twist the garment to get rid of the water, but to gently squeeze out as much as possible. Then put the sweater flat on a towel; never hang your garments as they may lose their shape.
You can also dry clean cashmere. If you get a stain that does not go away when you hand wash it, dry cleaning is the bes t option.
We also recommend that you keep your cashmere garments in a dark, cool place and flat, not hanging. Please note that we do not accept returns due to mismanagement.
