It is very important for us that the people making our clothes work under good circumstances. Through our Code of Conduct, we demand that everyone gets a fair salary. Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to see our Code of Conduct.
Soft Goat pays for the delivery and return costs for domestics orders. Delivery trough Europe starts at 10 EUR, please note that that the delivery cost can differ depending on the order value and/or distance. To the rest of the world, the shipping cost begins at 25 USD. Any customs duties are paid by the recipient. If you don´t pick up your package we charge a cost on 150 SEK. Shipments to Norway, the delivery cost is 99NOK and includes customs and VAT in the purchase price.
When you purchase from Soft Goat you have 30 days to return and exchange from the day that you get your package*. The only condition is that the product is not used washed or has any other defects. Don´t remove the hangtag. If you don´t follow our return policy we will not accept your return. Please be careful when you try your order, some of the garments are very fragile. Your transaction will be credited via your choice of payment within 14 days from that we received and handled your return. In individual cases, it may take up to 30 days, which is the maximum time according to the Swedish consumer sales act. We will send you an email as soon as we handled your return. Any billing fee is not refundable.
*Please note that if you purchase a product with monogram you can´t return or exchange the product.

On Soft Goat we offer payment through credit card, Invoice, and Swish (Swish is only available for Swedish customers). We currently accept VISA, Mastercard, Eurocard, and American Express. When you pay by credit card, the payment is processed by our payment partner Adyen to ensure fast and secure payment. No extra charges are applicable.
We currently cooperating with some of the banks in Sweden, Swedbank, SEB, Nordea, and Handelsbanken. When you do a direct payment our payment partner Trustly is handling your payment together with your bank to guarantee that the payment is fast and secure.
We guarantee that the item you order is new and without defect at the arrival. If you get a defected garment when you receive you order please contact our customer service as soon as possible. You will get a new or the correct item within 2-3 weeks. The defected garment can´t be used when you return it. Return your item together with your delivery note and return form. Please note that before you return the defected item you must contact our customer service so they can accept your return. In case of dispute, we inform you that you as a customer can send a complaint to one of the agencies listed on the European Commission's Dispute Resolution Web site: webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr.
There is a certain degree of stress for the goats whilst being cut, however they suffer as little as ordinary sheep’s do while being cut. To minimize this stress, there are often two or three people cutting one goat at a time.
Cashmere wool comes from cashmere goats living in an extremely cold climate on the high plateaus of the Gobi desert stretching between China, Mongolia, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The name Cashmere comes from the region of Kashmir, which is located in northern India, however very few goats lives here today.
There are three different processes, either by shaving, cutting or combing the goat. In inner Mongolia it is most common to comb the goats since that makes it possible for them to keep the overcoat of wool which they need for the colder climates in inner Mongolia. In areas further south, it has become more common to cut the coats which means that they have no wool lest, but in this case the farmers always make sure to wait until the temperature is high enough so that the goats to live comfortably without fur. Yes, we have created a Code of Conduct together with the sustainability agency U&We.
Every factory that we work with use modern and safe machines and technology. There is also free lunch served in a separate room and outdoor areas for all workers to access.
We and every factory we work with have strict rules against child labor and no one under the age of 18 is allowed to work. Through continuous contact and visits to our different factories, we can assure that these rules are followed.
As of right now the products are transported to Sweden by air. We are looking over changing this way of shipping to seafaring, which would be much better for the environment.
We have visited all the factories we work with except for one, which we are planning to visit as soon as possible. We also want to visit all the factories continuously to keep our good relationships with them and to make sure that the good working conditions are kept.
The normal delivery time is (if no other information provides) 2-3 days for domestics orders, 2-6 days for orders within the Europe Union and 4-8 days to the rest of the world. If a product is out of stock the delivery time can be longer. If there would be a delivery delay you have the right to cancel your order, in that case, please contact our customer service. We ship all orders with PostNord, DHL or Best Transport (only in Stockholm). You will get an email or a text when the package has arrived. If your package will be delivered to your home you need to be available when the package arrives.
